Hey guys....
Quick question.
I have the Moroso catch can on my car. I installed it along with the plethora of other goodies, when I put the motor back in. The other day, I noticed a small amount of oil on the garage floor. I figured I was going to change the oil anyway on Saturday, so I looked for the source a couple of days later. While under the car, I noticed the source was the catch can. I proceeded to drain the can.... and to my suprise it must have been totally full. There had to be over 1/2 a quart of oil in there. This was suprising to me because I have only put about 300 miles on the car since the engine was reinstalled. I am certain it is installed correctly, but that seems to be an awful short period of time for it to fill up.
Maybe this is a good thing... maybe this means it is doing a really good job.
Any comments?

Well depending on the weather it could be alot of condensation in the can. I noticed that mine too seemed full (I have the Jaz can) but it was alot of water mixed with the oil. What level is you oil at now? I doubt it has moved noticeably but keep an eye on that.

Depending on your driving habit. With normal, city driving (no redline), I drain out about a cupful every week...

00ITR006, do you have a line coming from your oil seperator box? If not, you def. don't have it hooked up right. you should have one line coming from the oil seperator, and one coming from the vavle cover with the open element Jaz can setup. The last two times I checked mine it had stuff in it.

If the oil was lower...it could not have been much. I have been religious about checking it everytime I drive the car. Don't want to take any chances this early on.
Should it really be full after only 300ish miles? Or is this normal? If it is... That's cool. I just wanted to make sure.
The mixture in the can seemed to be mostly oil... although there could have been water as well.
